For some reason, whenever I read this fic, I have the theme music from the first Terminator movie going through my head.

Wow! I really am enjoying this story. I like how Harry is not 'super powered' and omniscient. Your characters are very true to canon voice, but you develop them so wonderfully. Thanks for writing this.

Great chapter! I was looking forward to it, took quite a long time. I really like Goldfarb, and Bill; hope he's around for much longer, I love him in almost every story I read.
I know what you mean about perfect heroes; it's just so unreal and easy it gets boring. Actually, I'd give even more flaws to your Harry, lol. I mean, he's too much of an adult, and supposedly there are both an adult and a child inside him. I'd like to see more of the confused child he was before, you know, like scenes in which he reacts like only the old Harry would and can't control himself.
Besides, it's quite too easy for Harry to control the Wizarding World as he wishes, in spite of everything. Shouldn't Mcgonnagal be doing something apart from having tantrums? I hope we'll see more of that later, it would be quite unreal if she just let go.
Anyway, great chapter, as always. I'll be checking your blog ^^

I decided a few days ago that I wanted to reread this story, at least partially because of the slated coverage of it at PFW (I'll reread it then too, so I should be pretty darn comfortable with this story by the time they get around to picking it apart) so I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the end and there was a new chapter added on that I hadn't been expecting.
I love that Rita is writing for the Quibbler, and that Harry has aggressively attacked the Ministry. While JK hinted at Ministry Corruption prior to DH, it wasn't until I read this story, and then DH that I really realized that the level that the ministry could make Wizarding London a living hell. I find myself wondering if Harry's going to be able to do something about the ministry in time, or if Voldemort will still be able to overpower it, but Harry's side gaining more people for the fight because of the articles.
I also wanted to say that I agree with you on the fact that a perfect hero is boring (unless it's a satire) and that I think you've done a good job of crafting a character who is powerful, but no all-powerful. It's hard to walk the line and have a character able to do so much as Harry, and still have flaws--and boy does Harry have some flaws. I feel like this can be directly associated with the way that JK crafted Dumbledore. A powerful wizard that even Voldemort feared, but even he had some flaws (and a dark past) that meant that he was still human.
I do find myself wondering when you are going to let Dumbledore in on the secret though. Are you waiting for Voldemort to be resurrected (However he manages to do that without his father's bones, another matter that has me curious).
More than anything else, your story makes me think, and makes me long for the next update. While it is not the only story that I read (not by a longshot) it is one of the few stories that I've even considered rereading, and only one of two or three stories written within the past few years that I have read more than once.
And with this obnoxiously long review written at a time when I really should be in bed, I shall part, and maybe I'll start hanging around your yahoo group.
