Great to see another of your chapters. The news articles are enlightening, and it's good to see Rita aim her sharp wit at the deserving parties for once.

Actually, Luna's comments about the minister getting bad advice... it sounded quite sensible to me. And so it might to anyone else who doesn't know Luna well enough to know she was probably alluding to the Rotfang conspiracy or something similar...

Too bad about McGonagall being too shocked about Harry's ruthlessness to see the necessity of it. I guess her image of him as a precocious child clashes too badly with his behavior. Still, the seeds are laid, maybe she'll see the light sooner or later.

The part with Bill, the revelation, and Harry's self-insight about feeling entitled to make all the decisions was well done, too. Loved Bill's reaction to hearing his original fate.

The scene with Fred and George was great, too. I guess they weren't really sure they could pull it off; it should be interesting to see what they can accomplish if they really try hard...

Looking forward to the DA meeting with Remus there. Hopefully PP won't cause too much trouble...

Boring after a while, sure, but if he was perfect, mightn't he have won by now? Because damn is this story long. Don't get me wrong, it's long in a very, very good way, but I can't help but worry when fics get this long. I mean, you somehow manage to make every chapter interesting and coherant with the story as a whole, but I can't even imagine how difficult that becomes as the web of cause and effect grows wider. Might this be why chapters of NoFP are taking longer and longer to get out? All I'm saying is I don't envy you the ridiculous challenge you've set yourself, but I certainly wish you luck in surmounting it. I'm definitely enjoying the results one way or the other.

In this chapter, I really liked the double pronged joke about Ginny and Molly conspiring to fatten him up. It was well done and the gap between the set up and the follow through made it even better.

Aw, poor Minerva doesn't have the stomach for playing in the big leagues. At least it looks like she won't get in the way of Harry doing what he needs to do.

I liked Harry recognizing that he has a kind of dictatorial attitude when it comes to fighting this war against Voldielocks, but I also feel that Mr. and Mrs. Weasley did put him in a corner. They should have run it past him beforehand, but I guess that wasn't particularly possible, eh?

Ron insisting on Hermione's name was a cute moment. I don't really care about R/Hr one way or the other, but I still really enjoyed that moment. It was pretty heartwarming and whatnot.

While I'm on shippy things, I think I'll add that you do a really good job in general. Sure, I guess you could say that about pretty much any aspect of your writing, but your skill at developing the romantic relationships is most striking to me because I have no real emotional investment in R/Hr, detest H/G, and dislike L/N, yet I have thoroughly enjoyed the presentation of all three of these ships in NoFP. Bravo.

As for the blowing apart Hogwarts' grounds, I have to say I'm a little worried about this sending off to Ollivander thing. Harry getting a special focus can be super silly, and while that can work sometimes, I don't think that fits with this fic. Of course, I don't think you're going to mess up in that way, but I am pretty baffled as to what is going to arise from Harry's power issues. (Besides a dead Voldilocks, of course.)

You have always been one of a handfull of authors whos writting always stands head-and-shoulders above the rest.

Well written, well paced, well thougtout with attention to the needed details to keep the story moving along.

Harry is playing a dangerous game here, and he should know that as he changes the timeline, other people are going to die. Your treatment of Harry and the others around him show a pleasent level of maturity that would be hard to find in real life - but it fits Harry.
