This just keeps getting better and better! I absolutely love it, I've read it through probably Five times now! Looking for all the secret information tidbit that any author loves to hide in their stories, only to bring it out at the "Oppertune Moment" to secure a plot climax!
I can't lie and say that it doesn't saden me when you don't update every day, but I realize you and every other fanfiction author have real lives, ones that are far more important than saiting your hungry readers. ;) Anyway, I'm content to just re-read this story half-adozen times between updating.
That said, Thank you for this story Viridian.

I do not mean to, as you say, "impose deadlines." That said - please, please update soonish...! You've just tipped over the first domino, and I can't wait to see how the rest of them fall. Given how well you write drama and the amazingly believeable twists through which your stories swerve, the next chapter looks to be a doozy and a half. Thank you for giving Rita sufficient information to write quite the biting expose... and thank you for posting yet another amazing chapter. WHEEEEE! :D

Hey awesome fic!! I'm also a member of your yahoo group.
I just want u to know that I apologize on behalf of those that try to impose deadlines. I have never done so but I have pleaded with you to update most often for your Naruto fic, Team 8.
I hope you have a great deal of motivation to write the next chapter for that fic and this and a Jinchuukiris tale. I haven't read any of your older fics so I won't ask you to update those. I don't even know if you even need to update any of your other older fics.
I was wondering was this fic going to end at Harry's 7th year or will it go on after that? It seems like it'll go on up until 7th year. Will Voldemort be resurrected in the next year? Stay tuned for the next episode. LOL I have way too much time on my hands.

Intriguing and exciting all in one--it was fun to be launched back into this wonderful story feet-first!
Harry, Harry... He does seem the sort to take on his problems head-on and all at once, doesn't he? Just as well that he argued his way out of Slytherin. ;-)

Harry's interview with Rita is a live grenade...can't wait to see the detonation and after effects.
Good stuff!!!!

Great wards Bill set up.
I forgot they hadn't clued Remus in to what was going on with Sirius.
Surprised the interview didn't make mention of the Black family fortune and the possibility of Lucius getting it via Narcissa if Sirius was killed.

A very well earned kudos from over here in England. I've visiting with Imogem (Carpe Diem Univ) and her family and this has made for areat way to end the day. I particulary like the Luna/neville situation and what it potents for Neville later on. I also like the first strike effort through Rita. I look forward to Lucius & Fudge's reaction AND to Voldy'd when he find the bones are fakes.

I can't wait to see the fallout from that article. I love the idea of attacking the Ministry first so their attempts to discredit Harry just seem like sour grapes. Hopefully, it won't backfire. I look forward to the next chapter!

Well,
Was that woth the wait? I THINK SO!!
Like Luna, i also am worried about poor Neville. The way he's grown up through this story has made him somewhat of a minor hero in my eyes, and i hope that the maturity which he has shown, will enable him to keep his friendships healthy through the trial Mrs. Longbottom is putting them through.
In a related note, I hope that Augusta doesn't get too miffed with Neville's peers after she reads the article that comes out. Hey, that's given me an idea!!!
As Harry mentioned to Rita, from Harry's diatribe against the ministry, and other "influential" members of the society, i'd say that Rita will have a hard time getting the full interview/article published; should she utilise the Quibbler to publish the full article, one can hope that this may persuade the indomitable Mrs. Longbottom to consider her grandson's friendship with the Lovegood girl with less hostility?
I also trust that some of the memories that Dumbledore manages to glean from Lupin before his brain is finally secure, may make the headmaster more amenable to the leadership and ideas of Harry.
So, great work, and keep it up, and i wait under great sufferance for the next installment!
Post Scriptum Should you need any more encouragement on your superlative narrative i am only too happy to find something else to appreciate in the story.

Another brillant chapter. I can't wait to see everyone's reaction to the interview. Thank you for making my Monday so much nicer.

Another great chapter that aptly demonstrates your superior writing skills. This chapter was full of special highlights and I loved all parts of it.
The decisive and innovative way Harry dealt with the Dementors was extremely satisfying for me to read, too. I assume the multicolored lattices identify threats, and also serve as a warning sign for the (regular) intruder to back off? How long would a normal intruder have before the active defenses come online?
For a moment, I thought Harry had made quite a gamble pitting the wards against all those dementors at the same time. How many were there actually?
The scene with the twins and the Marauders was fun. The scene with the Horcruxes was also very gratifying. Finally someone using some common sense in their time-travel fic. ;)
The conversation with Luna is great and was handled beautifully. Harry may have changed the timeline into something unrecognizeable, but the knowledge and experience he got from his 'first time through' are still far from useless. Besides, this influence over the timestream does nobody any good if Harry doesn't cash it in at some point. I'd say Harry made a fairly good bargain when he redeemed that influence.
Is Tom, the owner of the Leaky Cauldron, old enough to be referred to as 'Old Tom'? I pictured him as a middle-aged man, like Arthur.
The interview is another highlight of this chapter, and is exceptionally well-done, too.
I was surprised a bit that his accusation of Lucius Malfoy was so... crudely worded. He could have kept the tone diplomatic and still make it sting.
His merciless diatribe against the integrity of the Wizarding World was very gratifying to read. Didn't think he'd launch a 'no holds barred', all-out attack against the Wizarding World's leaders so soon, but it was highly enjoyable nonetheless. I imagine Fudge, Malfoy and those redeemed Death Eaters will be feeling (and remembering) that blow for a long time! :D
I can't wait to see the article. It will be in the story, won't it?
> "That woman was absolutely insatiable with
> all her questions. I mean, why should she
> even care if you wear boxers or briefs?"
At this question, I'd expect Harry to laugh and say: "Honestly, Rita, can't you come up with something more original for the gossip column?"
I'm looking forward to the next chapter. See you soon!

Thank you so much for making my day! I think this is my favorite story on FFA.net. I love the constant tension caused by young Harry acting like an adult. The interview with Rita was fantastic. I think it's intriguing how you've taken a character that was originally rather despicable, and simply by Harry directing where she looks for stories, she becomes much more sympathetic. I can't wait to see the fallout from the interview. I'm also interested to find out who exactly sent the Dementors. Thanks again for a great chapter!

Magnificent chapter. Not only is the writing flawless: I believe you've managed to acquire Jo's ability to introduce multiple plots at the same time. You may be even better: introducing the whole of wizarding politics, history, psichology, etc.
Maybe something I like in your story (far better than in other similar ones) is the way this Harry goes on with a sense of urgency. He is doing stuff, and he is not wasting time. I don't know how are you going to manage to maintain the plot however: you've put the DE's in a difficult position -- not that I doubt you, I'm just anxious.
Maybe you'll find a way to bring Voldemort back, as hard as you've just made it.
All in all, a great chapter.

Enjoyable as always.
The turnaround had to be close to a record with the Beta's. Kudo's to them.

Hi,
I just finished reading your entire fic and I loved it. Some of the things that older Harry had to go through was just so hearbreaking. I've read stories about Harry going into the future and everything pretty much stayed the same, but this is very interesting since Harry has his older memories in his younger self. I'm curious to see how things will change now that Harry has shaken things around a bit. I hope Mrs. Longbottom eases up a bit with Neville and Luna since I find their relationship adorable. Now that Professor Sanpe has been sent away will Professor Slughorn teach Potions? I'm really looking forward to how you will write about fourth year. You've done a wonderful and job and I can't wait to read the next chapter.

that was excellent, matt! And, although I would personally love a chapter this size every week, as an author myself, I do have to recognize reality when I see it *GRIN*
Seriously, each chapter takes as long as it takes, and, I'd much rather wait to have a quality chapter, than get a unfinished chapter because you wanted to put something out, if that makes sense.
Looking forward to where the story takes us next.

*bows to Matt* We are not worthy!
I think that the Marauder/Fred/George interaction in this chapter was absolutely brilliant. And it does make a lot of sense for Harry to start the accusations first, even though he could get in big trouble for it. I'd love to see Rita interview Malfoy. She'd probably have to publish it first in the Quibbler, given the influence Malfoy still has, but it would still be great and I think her character as it is portrayed here would love it.
Here's an idea for a way to get rid of dementors: set up anti-dementor wards like around the Burrow in a big area, but don't quite finish them. Then, lure all the dementors into that area and, once they're all in, complete the wards. The dementors are completely contained and, if wanted, a bunch of people can do a mass accio spell. Really, this idea of destroying dementors by wards is one of the best I've seen. Normally in fanfiction, there's just a super!patronus developed, to the point where it's a bit of a cliche. I think the new method is original and great.
